Singapore exploring use of carbon credits to meet climate goals

SINGAPORE – Singapore is considering using carbon credits to help it reduce its carbon footprint.

In response to queries from The Straits Times, a spokesman for the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) said on Wednesday (Oct 20) that Singapore’s priority is to reduce its emissions through encouraging industrial energy efficiency and adopting emissions reduction measures.
