“I don’t normally purchase lottery tickets unless the prize on offer is AUD30 million or above, but I thought, why not! I’m so glad I ended up purchasing a ticket in the draw. I just woke up on Sunday morning and decided to check the ticket. My wife wasn’t home, so I had to give her a call and tell her the good news.”
The anonymous winner’s wife was in the process of boarding a plane when her husband discovered the win. The venue that sold the winning ticket, Advantage Pharmacy Pakenham, located at Shop 9, Village Lakeside East Shopping Center, 19-27 Lakeside Boulevard in Pakenham, also shared in the celebration.
